Traditional Turkish Paper Marbling Art

Ebru is the art of creating colorful patterns by sprinkling and brushing color pigments on a pan of thick water solution and then transforming this pattern to paper. The special tools of the Ebru art are brushes of horsehair bound to straight rose twigs, metal pins for dropping and shaping paints, a deep tray, natural earth pigments, ox gall and seaweed powder  for water solution
Part of its appeal is that each print is a unique monotype. It can't be repeated exactly the same again.
